How to plan a conference coffee break
A conference coffee break needs to fit the session schedule without creating queues. With more than 100 attendees, several service points are usually needed rather than one station — otherwise the break runs longer than planned.
Keep the menu simple: coffee, tea, water, juice, and light pastries — heavier dishes tend to go untouched at a coffee break. It also helps to include lactose-free or sugar-free options.
A common mistake is not confirming the exact serving time with the venue organizers. A coffee break set out too early can go cold or stale by the time the break starts — syncing with the program moderator matters.
